726_model_print = Series of photos mounted on boards. These images were made of a mock-up prototype with no internal electronics sometime in the middle 1970s. The boards were shown to various people to get their reactions to the appearance, features, etc and find out if the design might be well received for its appearance and ergonomics. The 726 model number was to indicate it was a follow-on from the 626 receiver 700_BAH_home = Set of photos taken at Barry Hope's home in East Grinstead around 1980. These show a prototype 700 power amp. (The "Celia Hope" photo in the "People and Places" photos section was taken at the same time as these.) 700_development_ver = These show an early version of the 700 power amp taken in the development lab at Warlters Rd during the second half of the 1970s. (The "700_lab_jcgl" photos in the "People and Places section were taken at the same time as these.) 700prototype = photo of prototype. This shows that the original plan was to have a switched IEC highpass filter for the disc inputs. By production this had been changed to providing an output level attenuator.
